La Reserva de La Vanille des Mascareignes es un parque dedicado especialmente a la mezcla de naturaleza con llamativos animales.

Se sitúa al sur de la isla, y es todo un reclamo para los turistas por el espectáculo que representa el poder tener en tus manos un cocodrilo, el admirar las grandes tortugas o la gran colección de insectos.

Los cocodrilos no son originarios de Mauricio. Se suelen traer de la región del Nilo y los hay desde casi recién nacidos hasta de unos tres metros de largo.

El parque lo fundaron dos familias, que reunieron en este espacio casi un centenar de estos temidos reptiles.

La Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes is a park dedicated especially to the striking blend of nature with animals.
